Congratulation to Herman Miller and Geiger for a combined 7 Best of NeoCon awards.    Geiger’s Clamshell Chair Collection with the Gold award in the Conference Seating category, and Herman Miller’s Setu Conference Stool with the Silver award.

Geiger also received a Silver Award for their Tuxedo Lounge Collection in the Sofa/Lounge seating category, and were rewarded with an Editor’s Choice award for Textiles/Upholstery for Ensemble.  An Innovation award was bestowed to the redesigned Eames Aluminum Group and Eames Outdoor Aluminum Group product line.   Nemschoff received a Silver award in the Healthcare category for its new line Steps.

The first showing will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 1 at the Harbor East Landmark Theater in Baltimore, Maryland. The second showing will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6 at the Landmark E Street Theater in Washington, D.C.

Carbon Nation is a 2010 documentary about solutions to climate change. Directed by Peter Byck, the optimistic film celebrates inspiration and action. The documentary spreads the idea that environmental solutions are viable and available. The film strives to answer the questions posed in Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth; Byck follows a group of people who demonstrate what the world can do in the face of such disastrous events.
