The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

The space we furnished for the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore was one of the most unique spaces we have ever worked with.

Our Work Maryland Zoo

American Office was asked to help with the lower level of the Zoo's Mansion House, which serves as administrative offices and a venue for events. The House itself was built in approximately 1801 and the basement was original and unfinished for the most part. The Zoo wanted to finish the space and create additional office space to house their Volunteer, Institutional Advancement, and Marketing departments. They also wanted to create a space that was bright and welcoming while on a relatively tight budget.
